St. Benedict Reading Log

Goal:

• To promote reading

Rules:

• Open to all students in grades 4-6 at St. Benedict School
• Students read anywhere and anytime (at home, in school, class time with teacher permission)
• Can read books, magazines, graphic novels, online (but not audiobooks or video games)
• Students initial their reading log for each 15 minutes they read (Be honest!)
• Students choose if they want their name announced on the intercom each time they complete a sheet
• Submit completed sheets to Reading Log Coordinator.
• Receive ballots to enter for valuable prizes 
• Receive one ballet for every 5 hours of reading (5 hours = 1 ballot; 10 hours = 2 ballots; 15 hours = 3 ballots, 20 hours = 4 ballots; and so on)
• Draw will be done on one of the last school days of the month. This date will be provided to the home room teaches by email from the Reading Log Coordinator.
